Cinnamon, one of the healthiest spices there is. One favorite drink at home is Cinnamon Tea or Agua de Canela, the way we call it in Bolivia.
It is really easy to make.
- 3 (medium to large) cinnamon Sticks.
- 6 – 7 cups of water
- sugar to taste
Reduce the water to medium low and add 1/4 cup of COLD water until the water starts boiling again. Repeat the same procedure at least 4 more times. The water will become redder, cinnamon like color. You can repeat the same procedure until it becomes darker. Also, if you keep going the oil of the sticks will start to come off and your drink will have some oil in it.
You can freeze it and becomes Cinnamon popcycles.
